My Research Proposal
My end result, the research proposal. This proposal follows the standard proposal genre. It includes an introduction, literature review, gap statement, research question, methodology, timeline, and works cited. Each of which focuses on how Guernica creates pathos.
"How Does Guernica Employ Visual Rhetoric to Create Emotional Identification (pathos) with Civilian Suffering?"
My Survey
My survey is designed to collect data that no existing source provides, what ordinary viewers actually feel when looking at the painting "Guernica". It uses the Likert Scale and open-ended questions to capture emotional responses.
My Annotated Bibliography
My annotated bibliography summarizes six peer reviewed sources and explains how each one connects to my research question, which at the time was, "Does Subversive Art Create Social, Political, and Environmental Reform?"
Inclusively, are my corrections as a means to showcase the revision process which coincidently includes a reflective cover page regarding what I had learned through the feedback and revisions made.
My Cited Works
My works cited page which reflected sources that fell under my original research topic question of the "Visual Rhetoric of Art".
My Methodology Paper which proposed the study of all subversive art as a whole if it created actual change. This paper directly reflects the transformation I wielded as it was still encompassing a broad topic.
